FOUNDER & DESIGNER OF TIANA JOY CREATIVE

I founded Tiana Joy Creative out of a desire to partner with business owners to help them tell their stories through strategic, clear, and consistent brand visuals.

I have been passionate about both stories and creating for as long as I can remember. Soon after I started designing I realized that the two are linked. Visuals tell a story in a different way than words. I began to wonder what would happen if visual branding was not focused on solely looking cool or trendy but was instead based on strategy. You know what your company is about. What if your brand visuals clearly supported who you are, building consistency and trust as your customers learn your story?

Before launching Tiana Joy Creative I worked as a graphic designer and design manager, where I gained experience designing, managing brand consistency, building out processes, and interacting with clients. While working as a design manager, I came to love meeting with clients. I looked forward to hearing their heart behind their businesses and partnering with them to create designs that fit their brand. I’ve brought that experience and passion for my clients with me as I began Tiana Joy Creative.

Visual branding should tell your customers who you are, creating clarity, not confusion.
When we work together on a branding project, we start by building out some basic research and strategy. I will ask you questions about who you are, what your company stands for, who you are trying to reach, and who your competitors are. This will be the backbone of the project. Strong brands aren’t created with just a cool design. Strong brands are marked by consistent and clear visuals that have meaning and strategy behind them.
Once the strategy is set, we move onto a moodboard. This is a compilation of visuals that set the stylistic direction of the project. Then we move through a couple logo and brand identity options. By the end, you don’t just receive a single logo. You receive a full logo package with variations for all your branding needs. You also receive a set of brand guidelines outlining your company’s background and brand strategy, your brand colors and type, and logo variations with their uses. This ensures you are fully equipped to maintain consistent branding as you grow your business.
Print materials we design include, but are not limited to, business cards, stationery, brochures, mailers, and flyers.
When designing print materials, I prioritize maintaining the integrity of your existing branding to strengthen and reinforce who you are while reaching your ideal customers.
